at Katzenstein Castle is unique – with its 30 m deep well which is hewed into the rock – and is a boon for the whole region

The Castle Tavern
is located in the former wall walk of the castle complex and is a cosy place to spend some time. It may be reached without having to negotiate stairs and is also easily accessible for elderly people. Particularly suitable for ramblers and bus tour groups. Seats up to 50.

The Shepherds' Snuggery
is also located in the former wall walk of the castle complex and provides a cosy room for non-smokers. It may be reached without the need to negotiate stairs and is also easily accessible for elderly people. An ideal room for a private party. Seats up to 40.

Hiring of the Staufer Hall and Well Snuggery: €100 respectively. The entrance and hiring fees for the premises go towards renovation of Katzenstein Castle.
